Accreditations
SES is accredited to a number of construction industry and scaffolding organisations, giving our customers the confidence that we operate to the highest safety, procurement and industry standards. These include:
The National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) is the trade body for access and scaffolding in the UK, serving over 240 leading contracting firms, scaffolding manufacturers and businesses. NASC members are strictly audited, ensuring the highest possible standards of safety, competence, regulation, qualification and professionalism are met.
By investing in the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard, SES demonstrates its commitment to a high quality service. ISO 9001:2015 ensures SES is compliant to relevant regulatory standards, has operational controls in place to effectively manage performance and safeguards future performance by facilitating continuous improvement in our business.
Achilles BuildingConfidence ensures SES meets construction industry and government standards, including PAS 91 and Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSiP). Through our accreditation, current and prospective customers know that SES has passed the rigorous audit carried out by Achilles, giving them assurance of a compliant, high quality scaffolding and access supplier.
As a Constructionline Gold Member, SES has successfully completed stringent compliance validation checks that go beyond PAS 91, as well as being assessed for Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSiP). Gold Member status also assures customers of our credentials for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies.
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) is the authority on health and safety compliance, responsible for setting industry benchmarks and providing the new Common Assessment Standards. By having CHAS look closely into how we conduct our activities and awarding us their accreditation, our customers can be confident of SES’ full health and safety compliance and performance.
The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) has been the industry recognised scaffold training scheme for over 40 years, with nine levels of scaffolding qualifications available. When our trainees, operatives and supervisors are awarded their applicable CISRS card, our customers can be confident in the qualifications and competencies of SES employees. CISRS qualifications also form part of our continual investment in the training and development of our operatives, supporting their career progression.
The aim of Birmingham Health, Safety & Environmental Association (BHSEA) is to improve standards of health and safety and the environment by promoting the health, safety, welfare and wellbeing of working people and the organisations they work for. Through its membership of BHSEA, SES is an active participant of networking, sharing and learning, adopting good practice, continuous improvement and investing in the Birmingham communities that we serve.
